Project: Sparks Reserve Sports Pavilion
Location: Box Hill South, Victoria
Client: City of Whitehorse

This project incorporates a new satellite sports pavilion for junior soccer teams of a nearby Soccer Club on an otherwise vacant brown-field site.

The scheme delivers a striking, robust pavilion that responds creatively to the needs of the user groups.

The plan and form were carefully inserted into the site to absorb and shelter players and to also accommodate large spectator volumes, whilst orientating them towards the numerous junior playing pitches.

The standard social rooms have been replaced with a large, open tiered external concourse that offers a flexible area for viewing and socialising.
