This dilapidated, single-fronted terrace house with rear stables received a refined architectural makeover to provide accommodation for a couple who enjoy entertaining, art and hosting interstate visitors. By linking the sitting room to the kitchen dining and living space via a glazed hallway, an internal courtyard was created, maximising natural light through the centre of the house and providing a garden outlook to all living spaces.

Recessed track lighting down the length of the house provides a gallery setting that shows the clients extensive art collection to best advantage. The stable conversion allows for additional accommodation across the garden courtyard from the main house.
