This project required the upgrade and expansion of a prominent, yet run down, Heritage Listed Rooming House and horse stables to create 16 versatile, universally designed bedsit apartments, with welcoming, secure communal areas and amenity. BHMA oversaw the project from initial feasibility studies right through to occupation of the end clients.

A whole-of-site approach to heritage context, sustainability and amenity creates a familiar, friendly residence which also contributes to reducing energy use, ongoing maintenance and provides tangible sustainable outcomes. The project achieved an ‘Excellent’ BESS rating.
