This project required the upgrade and expansion of a prominent, yet run down, Heritage Listed Rooming House and horse stables to create 16 versatile, universally designed bedsit apartments, with welcoming, secure communal areas and amenity. B+H Architecture oversaw the project from initial feasibility studies right through to occupation of the end clients.

A whole-of-site approach to heritage context, sustainability and amenity creates a familiar, friendly residence which also contributes to reducing energy use, ongoing maintenance and provides tangible sustainable outcomes. The project achieved an ‘Excellent’ BESS rating.
