Location: Fitzroy North, Victoria

A two storey heritage listed terrace house was redesigned for a retired couple with the brief being to ‘age in place’. The inclusion of a lift was central to the design allowing our clients to access the whole house. Bathrooms were generously sized with abundant natural light. The existing seventies conservatory was removed and replaced with a kitchen, living and dining area overlooking a compact well designed rear garden. Timber panelling brought warmth and texture to the scheme, while charcoal floor tiles referenced the house’s Victorian heritage.
